WHO AM I ?
You can call me Bec
I’m the founder of Becsta Home Finance, and I’ve been working in the mortgage broking industry since 2008 - yes, right through the Global Financial Crisis.
I completed my Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management in 2016, but my approach to finance goes far beyond qualifications.
I’ve walked this path personally - buying my first home with my husband in 2007, upgrading to our family home in Burleigh Waters on the Gold Coast in 2013, and purchasing our first investment property in 2016. Our next goal is stepping into the commercial property space together.
I’m a born and bred Gold Coaster, a long-time Titans member, and someone who genuinely cares about this community. I’m also a Commissioner for Declarations, so I can assist with statutory declarations and ID witnessing as part of your journey.
When I’m not helping clients, you’ll usually find me walking our cattle dog on the beach, doing my best at the gym, enjoying local live music, or spending time with my husband and two teenagers - often while planning our next adventure, whether that’s caravanning or travelling somewhere new.
I got into finance because of my extraordinary brother, Gavin. After sadly losing him to a sudden heart attack in 2019, his belief stayed with me - that finance shouldn’t just be for bankers, but for people who genuinely want to help others and change lives for the better. That belief is at the heart of everything I do.
